Aviators - a must have or a one season wonder?

This season, I have been desperatlely swithering over the Aviator jacket. Effortlessly cool, I know it would rock up any simple outfit. It has taken the fashion world by storm, going from catwalk to high-street to bargain in a matter of weeks. However, I can't help thinking that this time next year I may be regretting the impulse purchase, and the price tag. I also may have missed the window in which to wear it this winter as I have now had to break out out my duvet-like Ralph Lauren, old faithful puffa (damn you Scottish weather!). Topshop however, may have provided me with the solution, bring out a faux version costing £58. I'm so very tempted. Tonight however, is the flat food shop and it's going to be a big one. With no juice, kitchen roll, washing-up liquid, tin-foil, toothpaste or food, my aviator debate will have to be put to rest. For now...
