High Street Honey

After writing that I felt like a princess in my fur coat, I was reminded of what I think could be the greatest asset to British fashion...Kate Middleton. Controversial I know, and I have never been much of a Royalist myself, but have you seen the Royals of Europe? Of Sweden and Monaco and Spain? They are AMAZING. Okay some of them are the off-spring of Grace Kelly so how could they not be amazing (she's my idol) but come on, it really was getting unfair. Now we've got a future Queen who can proudly stand among them as a fashion icon in her own right, and what does she choose to wear? High Street. That's right, for our future King and Queens official engagement photo, Kate wore a dress from none other than Reiss. That's what makes me like her so much, she is completely accessible and it's not above everyday girls to dress like her (though you'll have to join a mile long waiting list for that particular dress). She is the perfect model on which we can showcase the best of British design. You go girl!
